Welcome to the Dermatology Department of Veterinary Healing Arts. We are a referral only specialty dermatology clinic serving the Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut areas. Our clinic specializes in skin diseases of dogs and cats including allergies, immune-mediated diseases, infectious diseases, skin cancer and parasites. These diseases often manifest with pruritus (itchiness), poor haircoat, hair loss, redness, crusts, scale and/or odor.

Our dermatology department is run by Dr. Tiffany Tapp, a board-certified veterinary dermatologist. Because we are a referral hospital, patients seeking Dr. Tapp's care must first be referred by their regular veterinarian.
